“We  believe that only immersion training and consistent supervised practice can promote the depth of sensory learning needed to embody the education given in a Feldenkrais training which will graduate people ready to practice the Method as teacher/practitioners.  We will take no shortcuts nor make compromises in the quality of education given.”

Julie Casson Rubin and Paul Rubin

Here’s Our Venue

Emerson Westwood

Conveniently located in the heart of Houston’s Galleria Area, Emerson Unitarian Universalist Church is our host and venue for the Houston Feldenkrais Training.

The church’s Westwood Hall is surrounded by lush gardens, and features a carpeted floor, air-conditioning, high ceilings, and lots of beautiful natural light. Emerson UU is a smoke-free campus.  There is plenty of free, off-street parking. The church is also within easy walking distance of both the Westheimer and San Felipe METRO bus lines, as well as many restaurants.

Watch our video welcome!

Are you a Feldenkrais practitioner?  We welcome you to visit the training. Click here for info.

We are accredited by the Feldenkrais Guild of North America’s Training Accreditation Board, one of three such Boards that set standards for Feldenkrais Trainings worldwide.

Our Feldenkrais Trainings are accredited at the highest international standard, and are recognized in every country where there is a national association of Feldenkrais Teachers. These standards, among other things, require 160 days of education divided into four “training years,” and maintenance of specific student/teacher ratios.
