Visiting the Training

We welcome you to visit the training!
Our policy is that practitioners may visit the training for three days (3) at no charge.  We prefer those days to be consecutive.  After that, the fee is $65 per day.
Dates and other training information is accessible from the main Training Page.
  • We like to keep the ratio of visitors to students low — again, for the sake of the education.  For our training, at present enrollment, that means a maximum of two visitors on any day.  Please email me at training@houstonfeldenkrais.com to reserve the days on which you would like to visit.
  • When you arrive, please check in with me.  I will be sure to introduce you to Paul.  I really want him to know you — and we want to welcome you!
  • We ask that you respect the training environment, and each student’s individual process.  As you know, a tremendous amount of transformation occurs during the training; and so, the students must be our focus at all times.  For that reason, we will ask you to be on one side of the group during ATM, and to sit on the border of any discussion or demonstrations.
  • Our students will certainly want to meet you — and we will be happy to introduce you as practicing Feldenkrais Teachers.   Please enjoy your day at the training as our guest, and “take the day off” from your role as a teacher.
  • During FI practice, we ask that you partner with another visitor/teacher.  We may ask if you are willing to work with a student in case we have an odd number.  We begin with hands-on practice the first week. Again, please respect the student’s process and beginner status.
  • If you wish to bring a business card for posting, please do so.  If you have other promotional material you wish to display, please talk to me about that when you arrive.
  • Teachers who refer students to our training program receive extended visiting privileges.  Inquire for details.
We find that these few simple guidelines help to make visits by teachers productive and restful.  We welcome you to our training!!!
PLEASE DO tell your students, friends, and colleagues about our training.  Enrollment remains open until May 2, 2011.
